- We will only use Google user data to provide or improve user‐facing features that are visible and prominent in our application.
- We will not use Google user data for any other purpose, including but not limited to serving ads, tracking users, or collecting user data for resale.
- We will ensure that our use of Google user data complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Data Disclosure
We may disclose protected health information about you to third‐party service providers, including Google, to provide or improve user‐facing features that are visible and prominent in our application. We will ensure that these disclosures comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Security Measures
We will implement and maintain reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect user data obtained through Google API Services. These measures will include, but are not limited to, encryption, access controls, and auditing.
Data Retention and Deletion
We will retain user data obtained through Google API Services for as long as necessary to provide or improve user‐facing features that are visible and prominent in our application. We will delete user data when it is no longer necessary.
SMS Communication and 10DLC Compliance
Real Psychiatric Services uses SMS/text messaging to provide appointment reminders, service updates, and other relevant healthcare or account information. We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of your personal information while ensuring transparency regarding how and why we send text messages. You may review or change your SMS preferences at any time by visiting https://realpsychiatricservices.com/sms-preferences and choosing one of the available options.
Consent to Receive SMS
By providing your mobile number to Real Psychiatric Services (e.g., in an online or paper form), you voluntarily consent to receive SMS messages, which may be sent using an automated system. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier. Message frequency may vary depending on the nature of your care or communications needs.
- No Purchase/Services Required: Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving services from Real Psychiatric Services. If you choose not to opt in, we will still gladly provide our services.
SMS Message Frequency
-
Users who opt in can expect to receive approximately one message per week, depending on individual care needs.
-
Message frequency may vary with appointment schedules, reminders, or urgent care notifications.
No Transfer of Consumer Data to External Organizations
We commit not to transfer consumer data to any external organizations under any circumstances, even with user consent. Real Psychiatric Services does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information—including mobile phone numbers or SMS consent status—to third parties for marketing or non‑service‑related purposes.
Security and HIPAA Considerations
Please note that SMS is not always a fully secure form of communication. We do not send highly sensitive patient health information via text messages; however, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, or general information may be transmitted. If you have concerns about the security of SMS, please let us know, and we can discuss alternative communication methods.
How We Use Your Phone Number
- Healthcare‐Related Messages: We use your phone number strictly for patient care–related communications, such as appointment reminders, scheduling, or service updates.
- No Third‐Party Marketing: We do not share or sell your mobile number or consent information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Service Providers: In accordance with 10DLC industry regulations, message content and related information (including your phone number) may be shared with mobile carriers and service providers solely for the purpose of delivering SMS messages and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Opt‐Out and Support
- Opt‐Out: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. Once you do so, you will receive one final text confirming you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive SMS communications.
- Help/Support: If you need assistance, you may reply “HELP” to any message, or contact us directly at 614-427-3205.
- Recordkeeping: We retain your SMS opt‐in/opt‐out records to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and carrier requirements. These records are stored securely and only accessed by authorized personnel.
